Tracie had a housewarming party. Her mom was in town. As was Marco from Manhattan. All I can say is that the day was full of laughter and lots of wacky-woo fun. Blame it on 4.20!

Team BG Brunch

Brunch at Team BG's included a creative cabal of filmmakers, artists, new media execs, fashion stylists, web monkeys, musicians, photographers, and other lifestylists. Needless to say, discussing the success of a few highdeas were shared over quiches and bagels.

We were down to one roll of toilet paper in our home and my sister, Hani, who is staying with my hyper enviro-sensitive aunt and uncle was coming over for dinner. She showed up with two rolls of recycled t-p. The toilet paper above was brought back from China. I think it's even softer than the recycled stuff! I do what I can to live green, but I have to agree with Larry David on the soft paper issue. I can't stop squeezing the Charmin!

4.5 Earthquake!

We were chilling on our computers when this earthquake rolled through. Right before our home shook, the alley cat outside started screeching loudly and crazily. Like he was fighting or "doing it". He stopped abruptly and our home started to jiggle a little, like it hit a small bump, and then it shook a lot. Our own two cats scrambled for the bedroom. When it was happening, I looked at all our toys on the big wall and turned to Silvio to confirm that we were indeed feeling some seismic activity.

Less than a handful of friends were on IM. Then one by one they all started popping on. Shaken awake, peeps were up checking the earthquake reports. There was no doubting what it was. After exchanging earthquake excitement with everybody online, I posted a tweet, then a pownce and then I reported what I felt. I'm thinking about my friends who just moved here a couple of days ago. What a welcome to Los Angeles!

There are a lot of Airstreams in Malibu. I noticed this trend when I first moved to Los Angeles in 1996. Since then, there have been plenty of books about this lifestyle phenomenon. I hope one day to bunk out of one of these with nary a care in the world.
