Dying to See "Son of Rambow"
There are a few reasons why I'm dying to see 'Son of Rambow':
1) I grew up running around in the woods. Along with my ET posse, we engaged in a lot of similar imaginary activities. I'm sure at one point in your life, you have probably wanted to make a film like this. Big ups to anyone who can actually dig up your old Indiana Jones/Rambo/Predator Betamax home videos!
2) Garth Jennings is brilliant and witty and I want to support all his work, especially an indie flick!
3) "Make Believe. Not War." is the best tag line ever.
4) Nostalgic 80s soundtrack, hair, and wardrobe.
5) I love coming of age stories with boy lead characters. I have always related better to them.
6) Proof that 'Rambo: First Blood' impacted my generation and not just me and my siblings.
This movie couldn't arrive in theaters fast enough!

A founding member of the hip-hop trio Beastie Boys, Adam Yauch has also earned filmmaking cred by directing Awesome; I Shot That! and Gunnin’ for That #1 Spot (now screening at the Tribeca Film Festival). Star Wars Meets ET
Alice is visiting with family abroad. The bed sheets she was offered to sleep on are classic. What a way to rest a weary head -- daydreaming of years gone by. I only wish that our family had kept such nostalgic sheets for posterity. Maybe a reminder that I should save such things in the future.
For those of you living in arrested development, never fear, eBay's here. A variety of Star Wars sheets and E.T. sheets can be found for very reasonable prices so you too, can go home in a galaxy far, far away.
