Our friends from the legendary Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, TX bring to the Southland another edition of the Rolling Roadshow, featuring summertime free-admission site-specific outdoor screenings!
Set in a near post-apocalyptic future, The FP centers on two rival neon- clad gangs raging an underground turf war for dominance of Fraizer Park (“The FP”) in the deadly arena of “Beat-Beat Revelation” – a competitive dance-fight video game. Accompanied by his brother JTRO, Beat-Beat Revelation champion BTRO must compete for the pride of their hometown; his opponent is ruthless fighter/trash talker L Dubba E. L Dub not only defeats BTRO, he sends him to an early grave. After a crash course in the ancient techniques of Beat-Beat from master BLT, JTRO challenges L Dubba E. Their battle to the finish, born of lust, power and revenge, will leave only one man standing. The FP is a nod to ‘80s sci-fi/action genre fare and is directed by brothers Jason and Brandon Trost (cinematographer of Crank 2: High Voltage and Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance!) Filmmakers in attendance!
