The University of Trash, artists Nils Norman and Michael Cataldi "experiment in alternative architecture, urbanism, and pedagogy" opens today at SculptureCenter's main space. Norman and Cataldi will create a large installation of walkways and pavilions using only recycled and re-purposed materials. Throughout the summer, their structure will host a slew of workshops, screenings, and presentations with a focus on DIY architecture and grass roots, self-organized urbanism.
