John Doe and Exene Cervenka formed the core of the legendary band X after meeting in 1976 at the Venice Poetry Workshop. This concert is a rare opportunity for John and Exene, with no additional musicians, to showcase their decades-long collaborative songwriting and singing partnership, performing acoustically as a duo. Expect to hear material from their respective solo projects as well as from the bands the Knitters and X.

Both Cervenka and Doe have expanded creatively beyond music. Cervenka has published several books, and her artwork graces many of X's album covers. When he is not touring, John Doe, an actor who has appeared in more than 40 films and television shows, resides in sunny Bakersfield, California.
