On Saturday November 8th come and join the staff at Solar1 for a day of volunteering in Stuyvesant Cove Park. Stuyvesant Cove is an all-native sustainably managed plant park on the banks of the East River at 23rd Street.
Work will include raking leaves, cleaning seating areas, fixing temporary fencing, and general park maintenance. The day will start at 9 am with coffee donated by Starbucks. Assignments will be given out and work will begin at about 9:30. The day ends with lunch provided by Stuyvesant Cove Park Association at 12:30.
