Our next exhibition will be on Fugei (embroidery fabric works) and Yen ware (ceramic works).
Fugeiten is a project of textile crafts collaborating with traditional craftsmen in the provinces.
In this exhibition they will bring "Koginzashi" bags and crafts. Yen ware is a line of new Japanese pottery manufactured by Mizuho kiln, a mingei pottery in the southern part of Japan.
At our opening party, we will serve kakigori (shaved ice) made by Rika Fukuda, a food coordinator, who recently published 'A book of shaved ice' in Japan. Kids are welcome!
