Visiting Artist Talk: Adam McEwen

Adam McEwen is originally from Great Britain, and now lives and works in New York City. He received his BA in English Literature from Christ Church, Oxford and also attended the California Institute of the Arts. He has had various solo shows at The Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery, The Wrong Gallery, and The McAllister Institute in New York, 17 Rosebery Avenue in London, The Jack Hanley Gallery in San Francisco, and the Alessandra Bonomo Gallery in Rome, while also having his work in the Whitney Biennial in 2006. McEwen has also taken part in group exhibitions at The Gagosian Gallery in London, the Frieze Art Fair, and the PS1 Contemporary Art Center and the Greene Naftali Gallery in New York.
