Opening Reception for the 2008 MFA Thesis Exhibition

A keen interest in hybrid forms of artmaking is evident in the work of 26 artists, all of whom graduate from Columbia University with a Master of Fine Arts degree this spring.
João Ribas, curator at The Drawing Center, has organized the showing of paintings, drawings, photographs, videos, digital media, installations, and performance documentation.
Artists: Arlen Austin, Martin Basher, Keil Borrman, Jason Boughton, Caleb Considine, Catherine Czacki, Clayton Deutsch, Julia Goldman, Brendan Harman, Krisjanis Kaktins-Gorsline, Allison Katz, Liz Magic Laser, Leigh Ledare, Mads Lynnerup, Oz Malul, Kai McBride, Divya Mehra, Amelia Saddington, Alyssa Pheobus, Diane Wah, Georgia Sagri, Carlos Sandoval De Leon, Seth Scantlen, Sara Stracey, Jessica Williams and Nate Wolf.
