If someone asked me what I wanted to eat every day for breakfast, this would be it: a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit with a scoop of grits on the side. As common as it might sound, it's actually a lot harder to find in Los Angeles than one would think. This meal found at Nick's Coffee Shop and Deli was perfect -- the sandwich was just greasy enough but not too gross and the grits were cooked just right! A lil dab of butter, et voila! My southern tastebuds are happy! If Nick's was closer to the westside, I'd be a regular here for sure.
