The video above is Virgin America's demo of their new In-Flight Entertainment System, "Red". This service is badonkadonk! It makes me want to dump United; status, miles and all, just for the sake of civil flying conditions and some killer entertainment. Order food with a touch of a button. Movies-on-demand. And video games to keep the kids (big and small) amused.
If it takes a European airline to make Americans step it up a notch, I'm all for it. Please take a minute to sign Virgin America's petition so they can start serving our stateside needs. Saving the best for last, the company claims that they will donate 25% of Virgin America's profits to battle global warming. It's great to see such corporate responsibility from some of the biggest polluters of our skies.
