More info / History :
TIC Film was founded in early 2005 by David Duck, Johannes Schaff and Mike Cupcake, and they were joined by Tara Clabecq-Bristow in January 2006. The group provides an easily accessible platform for a wealth of amateur and professional filmmakers to screen their work to a large and receptive audience.
We have reached a diverse range of people by running a season of special events at Bar Story in Peckham and a regular all-night cinema room at the Signs of Life... events around South London. 2005 saw us invited to programme the closing night of the ELEFest film festival, as well as a number of submitted films finding their way on to the screen at some of this years major music festivals.
February 2006 saw the humble beginnings of TIC's speakeasy, expanding The Invited Cinema into a multi-media jam; we provide the space and the open opportunity for film-makers, musicians, dancers, artists, photographers, installation artists and performers of all such cinematic mediums to express themselves freely and share their talents, creating an inspiring, enjoyable and relaxing evening for all. You will now find us regularly at The Jamm, Brixton, where The Invited Cinema meet on the third monday of every month . . . Join us to kick back with a reasonably priced drink or few, some hearty food, and creative overflow . . . Welcome
