Dear Nerd Herd,
Remember how you freaked out when you caught glimpse of Sony's "Minority Report-esque" glass plate experiment?
If you thought that was fucking cool, check out what, Jefferson Y. Han, project director of FTIR (frustrated total internal reflection) created!

Mr. Han's a consultant to NYU's computer science department. Anyone know him?! I want to ask him what he's going to do with this rad "graphical interaction surface"? Is he taking it to market? Entertainment, technology and art -- the special combo I've been looking for. Hang it on a wall or use it as a dining table surface, I don't care...just make it commercially available!
If this isn't entertaining, you are 1) living in 1984, 2) beyond jaded, or 3) developing a competitor product.
If you are doing #3, holler! And apologies if you saw this like, more than a week ago.
UPDATE: Jeff presents at ETech 2006.
