kozy and dan have been busy. so busy that we'll take a day of running errands with them over not seeing them at all. first stop, the framers. pick up art. second stop, empress pavilion. it was 1:15 pm and the sign at the check-in said, "Dim sum may not be available when you are seated." 1:30 pm, chowing on har kow and spare ribs. third stop, sixspace gallery. drop off art for pending solo show. next 1/2 stop, pull off onto la brea to see john. minus 1/2 stop, change mind in five lanes of traffic because we don't know if he's home. fourth stop, DK donuts. order iced coffee and buy three bananas. fifth stop, 7-11. buy lottery tickets because we all know creatives don't make money. discuss winning arrangement splits and shake hands. proceed to make prank phone calls. feel bad two minutes later. sixth stop, home. back to work the kids go.
