The Fischerspooner Excellent Workshop Open Studio, is a series held at 110 North First Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn every Thursday through April 7, 2005. The Salon reveals the work that formed the basis of inspiration for Fischerspooner's pending new album, and previews new tracks for the first time. This project was created to encourage participation and experimentation in the creative process that surrounds Fischerspooner, and has been a breeding ground of ideas and references for their new bodies of work in music and art. Each gathering showcases the work of a range of artists involved in Fischerspooner's creative world and has spanned dance, performance, music, photography, painting and installation.

The Story will be an presentation of events chronicling the journeys of both companies - Evil Monito and Creative Recreation - respectively.
This interactive piece will trace the beginnings, the hardships, and the growth that one undertakes to realize one's goals. Presently, Evil Monito and Creative Recreation collaborated to create a shoe that signifies a mutual and respectable union. We invite one and all to experience The Story.

i'm a magazine junkie. i subscribe to more titles than everyone in your household combined. i'm a page turning banshee with a short attention span. you've got eight seconds to sell me. my eyes examine print quality while my fingers caress cover stock. weird, but if you rub wrong, sorry, i can't read you. i don't even want to hold you! working in publishing fuels my habit and is a ready excuse for plopping down $20 every so often in the name of research. it's my duty to report to you, dear readers, when something newsworthy hits my mailbox.
introducing theme magazine, straight out of new york city, launching nationwide this week. theme is a delicately designed culture title fulfilling my desire for clean and clever without slacking off on multi-syllabic words. admittedly, i was a bit hesitant noticing the all-asian content but after about five seconds i found myself totally absorbed reading all the words (who actually reads all the words in magazines these days)?! i didn't know whose interview i wanted to read first.
theme's dynamic duo and publishers, john lee and jiae kim lined up an all star cast for their debut issue, appropriately titled, vanguard. hiroshi fujiwara, barry mcgee, and nam june paik all make appearances. theme's vanguard issue is graceful. my only complaint is that the next issue doesn't hit until this summer.
