
hospital rooms and clinics are sterile for obvious reasons. decoration is usually sparse or non existent, consisting of medical paraphernalia and body charts, often stressing out waiting patients. juan tapia-mendoza, a pediatrician, former wall writer and co-founder of pediatrics 2000 is mixing traditional meds with the healing arts. hugo martinez, a gallery owner and friend encouraged dr. tapia-mendoza to share his clinic's walls to showcase graffiti art. restless kids can kill time coloring graffiti-themed coloring books.
