oh and if you haven't seen it already, wayne bought me philippe halsman's jump book. philippe was a photographer famous for his portraits of celebrities and politicians; most of them ending up as life magazine covers. he had already discovered the joy of documenting jumps decades ago. i hadn't heard of philippe when i started my own project in 2002. although jumping in pictures is not an original idea, i still believe it's fresh.
i'd like to make a little book or something out of all my jump submissions one day. nothing fancy, just a little token of my youth. won't you be a part of the project?
