peder sent me an email a few days ago. it made me happy. he reported that he had started a regular game night in stockholm, sweden and that it was growing weekly.
i met peder through my friend, michael-from-sweden; tokion's summer intern turned european marketing guru. the first night that i met peder, he was in town with his girlfriend, asa. i found out that they were leaving the next day and i said they could not leave new york without participating in a game night. i think we played mario party 3 until 4 am.
months later, peder came back to do his summer internship in philadelphia. he'd come up as often as he could and when he came to the city, he'd end up at our home playing video games and hanging out. when asa came to visit again, they came to team hp's for another game night.
when the kids left for home, i made them promise that they would start a game night in stockholm. that way, if silvio and i were to visit, we'd feel right at home. the kids' done good.
peder's now back in stockholm working on his webzine, blaserad. you should check it out. his english is pretty damn good for an alien.
